Objectives:
The objective of the NEWS project was to collaborate with consortium partners and their member organizations to identify their training needs in relation to rapid digitization and AI integration. The results of this analysis were mapped to the existing training programs of partner organizations, as well as against the three main Excellence Frameworks used in Europe; CAF EFE & EFQM, enabling the partners to adapt their offerings to current labour market demands. NEWS also produced policy guidelines on flexible deployment of CPD within SME.

Implementation:
The NEWS project surveyed over 100 organisations across the four regions to ascertain their training needs regarding rapid digitisation and the use of AI within the organisation. The results of the survey were mapped to the current training programmes of the partner organisations and a joint updated catalogue will be established. NEWS also produced policy guidelines on the effective deployment of these programmes within the organisation.
Results:
The NEWS project produced a Survey Report of Training Needs based on the >100 organisations survey, a joint catalogue of over 350 freely available training programmes that are relevant to current market requirements, a policy document describing how training programmes regarding digitisation and use of AI can be deployed effectively within the organisation and a cooperation offer for new organisations to join and contribute to the NEWS training network.
