Objective:

Within integrated logistics, integrated control of flows is a key element. Logistics covers a broad field. The design, planning, shaping and controlling of processes, flows and capacities are all part of managing. Implementing is about efficiently taking care of the purchase process, storage, handling and internal and external transport. Improving means realizing a lead time reduction, savings and quality.

Content:

Logisticians are always looking for opportunities for improvement: things have to be done better, faster and cheaper. You want to understand what role production- and distribution logistics play within organizations and how the logistics framework is constructed, the logistics demand and supply side. Beside that, you want knowledge and skills of some logistical techniques, such as demand prediction and inventory. In this training these aspects are addressed from a broad and business administrative perspective. The whole process of managing, implementing and improving is addressed.

The logistics performance an organization has to deliver is mostly determined by market demands. Important aspects within this process are further deepened in the training Integrated Logistics.

After the training you are able to recognize the importance of logistics, the cohesion and relations with the supply- and demand side and identify the connection with other departments within organizations.

Prerequisites:

Executives, logisticians, planners and employees business office, working within the logistics field and for whom the basic knowledge is insufficient. A specific prior education is not necessary. Some years experience with logistical processes is an advantage.
